With that shutter speed you have turned the sea into a frozen plain, Zed.
zed: Wasn't hard ray it was as calm as a millpond anyway

Do you know, Tony, I think I would have cropped this to remove the empty space on the left and give more emphasis to the fabulous light and clouds. Surprised to see this this was an oil refinery!
zed: Your probably right Alan but l wanted to leave the remnants of the old jetty

The colours are simply delicious - you could almost eat them!

zed: l have another shot form much the same spot in two weeks, where the morning colours are nearly as good. It was such a beautiful sunrise for all of 3 to 5 minutes, lol, had to make the most of it
A strange surface the sea seems to have.
zed: It was as calm as a millpond that morning, and the sea is completely untwiddled, Must have been a few wind ripples
Wonderful Tony. The colours are superb!
zed: Thank you Richard, they certainly didnt last long
Those lights make this shot. As well as the colors of the sky ! Nice one Zed
zed: The lights are great , they much such a contrast to the rest of the image

This image has a very calming effect on one's nerves, the colors are gorgeous! The golden hours last only for a few minutes and you seem to have captured it as its best
zed: Thank you Mia, l had just got through saying to Aussie l cant capture that, but l had to give it a go and got two shots that l really like. The next one will be posted in two weeks and it is my favorite

The lights in the distance make the shot Tony and I too would have cropped a little from the left.
zed: Thanks Mike, you and Alan are probably right, its the usual story, what my mind wants you to see is not necessarily so.lol
Cracking shot zed, I love the sparkle of the lights on the horizon.
zed: Thay are nice aren't they Brian
A very pleasing shot..its the sky and distance lights that do it for me. Nice one Zed
zed: Much appreciated smile
The light is so special down there. That's one of the reasons I'm longing to be there in August.
zed: Down under as a whole is a special place

Nicely done. For my tuppence worth the crop is spot on - just see the jetty as the statement with the remaining piers trailing away thus ....
zed: Thanks idleye
splendides couleurs
zed: It was a pity they lasted such a small amount of time
